Professional Background

 

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Union College in 2006 and completed my Masters of Science in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in 2013. 

I began my clinical work in 2012 at the The Renfrew Center as an Intensive Outpatient Primary Therapist, where I provided supportive clinical services to clients coping with eating disorders as well as co-occurring diagnoses such as generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder. I provided individual therapy, group therapy, meal support and family therapy. 

In 2015 I joined Columbus Park as Primary Therapist and Intake Coordinator. I received evidenced-based training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of Eating Disorders, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Relational Therapy.

Additional Training:

  • Marsha Linehan's Behavioral Tech Institute DBT Skills Training

  • First year foundational and Second year live clinical supervision training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family

  • Postpartum Support International’s Perinatal Mood Disorders Components of Care certificate program

  • Completion of 36 continuing education hours every 3 years to maintain licensure

I am also a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers.
